There’re Here….
Pray for me… My “GREEN” weekend has started.
HA! gotcha!!
This weekend Whitney has some of her (and I stress her) friends coming to stay the weekend. These people are driving a vegetable oil powered motor-home across the country. This thing will be parked in my driveway! Click here for more info. While I am not one to be rude, and I don’t know these people, I am apprehensive about them being here. Here is what I know: She is one of those raw food vegan types, he seems pretty cool, and they have a kid. Did I mention about the vegetable oil??? I am not talking about a new jug of Crisco… no, no, no. I am talking about going up to the McDonald’s and asking if they can have their used oil out of the tank out back. I think this was on a episode of Dirty Jobs… While I am all about recycling, I am not GREEN. I can’t wait for them to light me up about my gas guzzling GMC2500 truck and my horrific waste of energy. I just kinda want to leave my truck idling all night. HA!! I get the feeling that I would rather spend the weekend getting preached to by Billy Graham then by these people… None the less, I am going to try to have a good attitude, say yes honey and move on while trying to find ways of increasing my “carbon output” at the same time… I will definitely have to post something after they leave on Sunday. Stay tuned…
BTW: If you have a big gas guzzling SUV or Truck and want to have a “partaye” at my house on Saturday call me. We can call it a “carbon output blowout”!
As you can see I haven’t posted in a while… Work has been pretty busy lately. The cable companies that I am involved in buying is moving right along. They will take off like a rocket next Monday. Until then I am working on a pretty cool project that I will be applying for a patent on. More will come out of that later on. Jackson had a great Easter and got lots of stuff from the jolly ole rabbit. He and I are dying today because of all the pollen. He was “blessed” with the same allergies that I have, which means a horrible existence in the spring until he is about 18. Lucky guy huh?
I was one of the first people on the scene of the Old Wax Road tornadoes today. I was one of 4 guys that cut our way through the trees so FCPD and EMS could get through. It was crazy. I am going to put up some pictures and more info tomorrow…
