Step one: Get rid of the UAW. Unions have had their day and now they have destroyed the auto industry. They cannot continue to pay some guy $45.00 or more per hour to sit there and install steering wheels all day. Don’t forget his Union mandated smoke break every 15 minutes. While we’re on that; his Union mandated smoke breaks are going to make his healthcare costs go through the roof…

I was going through all the articles in my Google reader tonight and thought the following headlines coming right after each other was hilarious.
Headline #1: Tough Times are Good for Vasectomies
Headline #2: Sperm Bank Clearance Sale!
Now… It seems to me that if you have already had number one done or did it without thinking, you are in luck if you still want a kid…

Stupid journalists… What’s the big deal to give this some new coverage??? They obviously have never been around a construction site… We have a Milwaukee that does the same thing and more. It will bore a 2” and larger hole though poured concrete with not much effort. Here some real drills:
Milwaukee 1-1/2 in. SDS-max Rotary Hammer
Hilti TE-70
This just proves that people will believe anything in a press release with some neat pics…

Behold, the Hitachi DH50MRY. Part drill, part jackhammer, it can eat up concrete like balsa wood without killing your arms. Our friends at PopSci cut one open to show how it works.

It’s the first drill of its kind to feature a counterweight strong enough to cancel out what is undoubtedly some pretty serious recoil. I still think it would take all the counterweight in the world for this not to shake my spaghetti arms out of their sockets in two, maybe three seconds. But that picture—can’t take my eyes off it.
